We’re thrilled to welcome Shakirah Akinwale — Centre Director at the UCL Centre for Sustainability and RealTech Innovation (CSRI) and a resident of L&Q as a new AI collaborator and advisor to DASH.
Shakirah combines sector know-how with lived experience, bringing a strong resident voice to everything we do. She’ll work with us to shape “tenant-first” use cases, plain-English explainers and guardrails, and offer practical advice on data, standards and safety from both resident and sector perspectives.
Her leadership in sustainable real-estate innovation will help us connect the latest academic thinking with solutions that work on the ground, strengthening our mission to make AI in social housing not just technically sound, but socially and environmentally impactful.

He’s a specialist in developing AI-powered tools tailored to specific knowledge areas, particularly in social housing an example is his “Housing Sage chatbot”.
His expertise in data architecture, IoT, and cloud systems has helped create smarter, more efficient processes that benefit both providers and residents. Lee’s work is at the forefront of making AI-driven service delivery a reality. We are pleased to have him as an AI tech partner.
