We’re pleased to welcome Phil Brotherhood, Managing Director of Brotherhood PR, as a DASH collaborator.
Brotherhood PR is a specialist communications consultancy working with social landlords and suppliers across the UK housing sector. With more than 20 years’ experience spanning housing, media and public affairs, Phil supports organisations to manage, protect and strengthen their reputation in complex, highly regulated environments.
A particular focus of Brotherhood PR’s work is supporting housing organisations to communicate clearly about technology, automation and AI. Phil has helped clients explain why digital change is being introduced, how it improves services for residents, and what safeguards are in place to manage risk. This work has been recognised through multiple awards with housing clients, demonstrating the positive impact that well-governed innovation can have for both residents and providers.
Phil brings a strong understanding of the reputational and regulatory pressures facing housing boards and executive teams. His background includes senior in-house communications roles within housing organisations, alongside years of experience working with national, regional and local media. This gives him a practical, grounded view of how decisions land externally—and what leaders need to do to maintain trust.
At DASH, Phil’s expertise complements our focus on board-ready AI and tenant-first outcomes. Clear, confident communication is essential to responsible AI adoption. Phil helps ensure that governance, transparency and tenant trust are not only built into AI initiatives—but clearly understood by all stakeholders.
We’re delighted to be working with Phil as DASH continues to support housing leaders to adopt AI safely, responsibly and with confidence.
